The Guy for Hino

Note: Picture bias, Len has the most pics, because I love Len!! Kyaa!!

La Corda d’Oro is one of my most loved animes, it’s a romance comedy whose plot revolves mainly in classical music.

Hino Kahoko the heroine who plays violin is surrounded by gorgeous guys namely:

Yunoki Azuma- flute
Hihara Kazuki- trumpet
Shimizu Keiichi- cello
Tsuchiura Ryoutaro- piano
Tsukimori Len- violin

All the guys mentioned above practically have feelings for Hino, which becomes evident as the anime moves. They all have their “moments” with our heroine but I think only two of them have the tendency to become Hino’s boyfriend and that’s Len and Ryoutaro (Personal opinion).

Why do I say that it’s the two of them? Let’s check them, shall we…

First, Shimizu Keiichi, he’s a freshman, a year younger than Kahoko (age doesn’t matter though), well he couldn’t be one because, although he’s basically the guy in the group with the most dates with Kahoko outside school (although they’re not really dates, but considering the places they go to when they meet accidentally: museum, concert at the park, restaurant, it looks like it), I don’t see any spark when they’re together and he looks a lot better with Fuyumi.

Next, Hihara Kazuki, he’s Hino-chan’s senpai and also has OBVIOUS crush on Hino. He is handsome, talented and I must admit, I love his moments with Hino, but, I don’t think he’s fit to be her boyfriend. The reason is because he’s a bit too immature for his age and I cannot imagine the two of them going out together. They could become best friends but not lovers, they're cute and he's sweet but... I just can't see them together in a romantic relationship. He’s such a sweet guy, maybe if he matures a bit, although I don’t think it’ll be possible since being child-like is probably his character and his best asset. He’s cute, very…

Third, Yunoki Azuma, Mr. popular, Mr. Perfect, he’s the epitome of excellence. Apparently that’s only on first glance since his “real” personality is one that’s dark and evil (or is it). I get the feeling that he’s pretending though, pretending to be all evil in front of Hino to see if she can still accept him or it could be that he can only show that side of him to Hino because he likes her and wants to see if she can still accept him. He likes Hino obviously, but he’s got a unique way of showing it. Hmm… actually, he’s not one of my strong bets, but… on second thought, I think I should reminisce more about him and Hino. I’ll be writing more about the two of them sometime I think. Ah!! I’m starting to like their pair. heehee

So those are my reasons for not picking any of the three, I mean two guys mentioned above (the one, Azuma, I’m still thinking twice about) as Hino’s lover. I’ve chosen two, Tsukimori Len and Tsuchiura Ryoutaro.

My reasons:

Tsukimori Len, he’s first considered an arrogant guy who refused to help Hino on her errand, but turns out to be a real good guy, a real good attractive guy, who shows subtle hints of feelings towards Hino as the story progresses. I think, he’s the person with the most “moments” with Hino and most of them would spell out the word LOVE.

There is also a story in their school, where a girl and a boy who both play the violin and joined the concours and then fell in love with each other. So like Hino and Len, since they both play the violin. He’s also the first person to make Hino appreciate classical music. The time he played Ave Maria inspired Hino and started her love for music. They also had a duet with their violins on their camp, and they sound so remarkably beautiful.

When Len’s mother wanted him to participate on a concert for a cause and he refused, his mother said out loud to herself, “I hope that child feels how it is to love” or something like that, Hino’s image immediately flashed in Len’s mind. And when Len accepted the offer and told his mother that “It’s just that, I want someone to hear my performance” KYAAAAA!!!! Len’s mother asked herself who opened his son’s heart, the only name that would come to thought is HINO KAHOKO. Len also gave Hino a ticket for his and his mother’s concert personally, and he did not give the others any, just Hino, his mother was the one who gave his other colleagues their tickets and their seats were behind Hino’s. It proves that Hino was really the one who changed Len’s heart and that concert was dedicated to her. Also, his mother said “I knew it” confirming that what she thought is true, that his dear son is indeed in love with Hino. Bravo, Len’s mom!! Back to past episodes I just recalled, when Ryoutaro’s ex-girlfriend showed-up and mistook the two of them for lovers, he intently listened to Hino’s answer, perhaps hoping she’d say yes and he kept on repeating that moment to Ryoutaro. He’s definitely proud of it KAWAII.

Ah I know more scenes. I just can’t put all of them to writing, maybe sometime later, I’ll write something for Hino and Len ~especially.

Ehem… Amidst his seemingly cold exterior, he gets to open up to Hino, doing things that he normally wouldn’t do. He’s helped her lots of times, spent sweet moments with her, and has changed because of her.

Ah, so many things come to mind, so many pleasant memories of the two of them, but I couldn’t put them all here, I’m a bit too tired, anyways, the anime has lots of them, HinoxLen moments.

Tsuchiura Ryoutaro, the first guy Hino’s become close with. He first saves Hino from falling down the staircase, helps her with her errand and also has sweet moments with her.

There wasn’t any story about a piano player and a violin player falling in love in their school BUT remember, Len’s mom is a piano player and his dad plays the violin. So like Hino and Ryoutaro.

Ryoutaro saved Hino when her accompanist dissed her and showed up his brilliant piano skills which he hid for quite a while because of some past event, all of it he did for Hino. When the two of them are together, they look like lovers more than friends. They talk a lot and Ryoutaro shows that he really does like Hino and he sort of loses his cool when it comes to her (that’s probably the reason why he hates Len so much) Like when Hihara accidentally pushed Hino on the bed and they were both so close to each other, he got angry, although he tried to hide it. When Hino was all depressed because Len heard her play a normal violin which sounded terrible, Ryoutaro tried to make Hino tell him what was bothering him and he definitely lost his composure when he got angry, even threw his bag away when Hino refused to tell him. He even attempted to punch Len when he thought it was him who made his precious girl cry. There was even an instance where his ex-girlfriend showed up and his expressions suggest that he doesn’t want Hino to see her. (Scared perhaps that she might distance herself from him)

The two of them are both equally handsome and equally talented. They have their own strengths, and they both obviously like Hino. The two of them (WHEN—(because I don’t want to lose hope that a Segundo Passo would come) so WHEN the second season comes, it’d probably be about who’s going to win Hino’s heart) They both did start their love rivalry on the second to the last episode of primo passo, specifically when Ryoutaro said “I accept your challenge” he most definitely did not mean the concour but another type of competition, and Len, not letting out any form of denial means he’ll go on with it.

So the question remains, who’s going to end up with Hino? The boyfriend material is most likely Ryoutaro, he’s easy to talk to, caring, thoughtful, when Hino and him are together they’re always talking about something, whereas when Hino and Len are together they don’t talk almost at all if not for some music related subjects, eeeh?? Of course he changed, haha!! There's a very very very evident change in him, if only Hino was able to notice and realize that she was the cause of all that. But they still look good together AND they have the MOST and I mean MOST moments together. Seriously, they even had Len’s family especially his mother in lots of episodes, and it probably implies something (Hino's future family perhaps, ah, now I'm getting more bias). And take note (yep, still not done with my bias-ness), her face turned red when their hands touched ‘accidentally’ on the music shop when Hino was replacing her violin strings. She even asked herself why. Now why is that?

So, who who who? Who’s ending up with Hino? Of course we cannot be certain, only hints suggests, and until a second season of this wonderful anime comes out, it’s going to be hard to decide, considering the given choices. Until now I still can’t decide who I want her to end up with, not that it matters anyway, even without a particular guy in mind to become her boyfriend, the events in the anime is still breathtaking. Her moments with different bishounens are amazingly amazing. Hino’s one lucky lucky girl.

Whoever she chooses, may it be Len or Ryoutaro or Azuma or Hihara or Ousaki-senpai (Ah, I forgot to mention him earlier, oh well maybe next time) I’ll take the one who’s not chosen between Ryoutaro, Azuma and Len (Just them three including Ousaki that makes it four, Hihara's also cute so I think I'll add him too, and his brother's also handsome. Ah!! What's this?? Bishounen shopping! I got to get hold of myself~~~) *evil laugh* I take the one not chosen Especially and I mean ESPECIALLY if it’s Len. Oh, now that I think about it, I want her to end up with Ryoutaro so I can have Len ALL FOR MYSELF bwhahahahaha!!! (just kidding, it’s half meant though, oh no, it’s more than half meant. Len’s MINE!!!)

Kyaaaaaaa!! Segundo Passo please come out soon!! Or PLEASE COME OUT, at least announce.

Ah!! I still have so much in mind, but I cannot put all of them in writing or in this post, so I'll try to write some more some time, perhaps something that focuses more on LenxHino or AzumaxHino or OusakixHino, sometime later I think.

Once again KYAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA!! and I mean KYAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA!!! I love La Corda d'Oro KYAAAA!!!~

Silver-Eyed Lion King and Number Forty Seven

Clare and Rigardo? Rigardo and Clare? I’ve been reminiscing on the 21st Claymore episode where Rigardo, a.k.a. The Silver-Eyed Lion King made his appearance.

My first impression of him was an emotionless, strong, smart and a very good looking guy (Just don’t let him transform, heehee) and someone who can become ehem, The number forty seven in the organization, Clare’s lover (he’s got potential!).

They have some things in common. Like for instance, they’re both good looking. They’ve been Claymores—Rigardo was once, before he turned into an awakened being and Clare also WAS a Claymore, before she decided to quit the “organization” on the last episode of season one (I believe there’s going to be a second season, hopefully).

They also have differences, like their attitudes and characteristics. Clare’s usually driven by her emotions, which could make her do reckless (and amazing) things. Rigardo on the other hand is more composed and analyzes the situation before making a move, although, he let loose on the later parts of his fight with Clare

Their similarities and differences when summed up would make the two of them a good pair. There aren’t any hints about a particular “love issue” between the both of them (my imagination’s been making up things though) but IF ONLY there was a little tweak in the story, like perhaps IF Rigardo did not die then he COULD HAVE realized Easley’s way of doing things are bad then he WOULD HAVE parted with his group and wander around. Then, he COULD HAVE met Clare along the way and he could tell her his story and they would travel together, learn to like and appreciate each other, realize their feelings towards each other and decide to get married!! (haha! Gomen, imagination taking over)

Too bad, it’s impossible though, since he’s an awakened being (Who loves to eat human guts) and he’s also already dead, killed by the one person I’d love him to get together with. (or IF there was a tiny winy – little – bit of chance he’s alive (if only, although it was clear that he was killed by Clare, but IF a large IF) then it could continue on the second season (Gomen, imagination taking over again).

Ah, lovely lovely anime Claymore is!! (second season please come out or announce your existence soon *whispers into the air*)

Ouran LOVE Reviews

Ouran High School Host Club's (OHSHC) Fujioka Haruhi doesn't seem to be the typical girl. She's surrounded by six gorgeous boys but hardly any signs of falling in love with any of them, or is there... (yep, we all know that there are signs) OK!!

Haruhi's totally numb, utterly clueless of all the LOVE around her. The other members are quite obvious though (some if not all of them).

Let's check the guys:
-Suoh Tamaki
-Ootari Kyouya
-Hitachiin Hikaru
-Hitachiin Kaoru
-Morinozuka Takashi
-Haninozuka Mitsukuni

I originally planned to have all members but realized that it's already late and having everyone in the host club here would make this post too long. Maybe I'll edit it sometimes or probably make a new post for the other host club members.
For now, it'll be about TamakixHaruhi

Suoh Tamaki:

The Host Club's President, son of the school's superintendent, the most popular host in the host club.
This guy's totally in love with Haruhi, but he's so slow he doesn't notice it himself. He's the person Haruhi's most likely going to end up with.

On the first episode, he was the last person to know that Haruhi's a girl. He made her run errands for the club (because of Haruhi's debt from breaking a vase they are suppose to put on auction) but promoted her to a host when he saw her pretty (at that time 'handsome') features. Tamaki's best trait, I think is his kindness. He trusted Haruhi and helped her look for her wallet that a girl intentionally dropped on the fountain and believed Haruhi when the same girl framed her, thinking that he's a guy (That made me like him more!)

The 'love' realization, he mistakes as his 'fatherly instincts' most likely began on the first episode when he blushes furiously as he observes her entertaining customers from a corner. It's a crush, obviously but he doesn't realize it 'coz he thought Haruhi's a guy back then, heck! even when he knew she's a girl he still couldn't figure out his feelings. Anyways, more third person realizations are shown on the next episodes.

In episode two for instance, He was jealous of Haruhi getting some of his customers and thus, he wanted her to stop being a host. He gave her a deal saying that she's supposed to learn to dance for their dance party, otherwise she'd be back to doing her club chores. He said those but he wanted to be Haruhi's 'lady' dance partner for her practices, which is not possible because of his height. He also tried to stop Haruhi's kiss on the cheek with her customer because Honey-senpai blurted out that it could be Haruhi's first kiss, but he slipped on a banana peel and tripped pushing Haruhi and having her kiss her customer on the lips, which was really funny.

One more scene is that from episode 3 I think the one with the title 'Invasion of the new manager' where Renge made them act out roles. Renge had two Yakuza sons act as Yakuzas which made them angry (I was too... I didn't like her at first, especially for trying to steal MY Kyouya, haha!) So, what happened was the two guys pushed Renge to the wall and Haruhi, being Haruhi saved her and prevented Renge from hitting the wall with her own body. Tamaki arrived afterwards witnessing a tear fall from Haru-chan's eyes. His expression at that moment was SPLENDID! (First time Tamaki had an angry look on his beautiful face) The expression of a guy who saw his love hurt. He seriously wanted to punch the guy.

Another of their best scenes is on episode 8 (One of my most favorite episodes) where they went to Kyouya's beach resort. They decided to have a 'find Haruhi's weakness' game where they must find the thing that scares Haruhi with her pictures as price. Along the episode, there was an incident where guys from somewhere appeared and bullied Haruhi pushing her to the sea. Tamaki immediately rushed to save her and carried her to shore. Where he scolded her for what she did (endangering herself, making him worry... A LOT) Lots happened after... Like he told her he's not talking to her until she reflects on what she did, but it turned out that he was the most affected. He was scared of Haruhi (Funny... but definitely L-O-V-E).

He was also angry (his face showed) when he saw Haruhi and Kyouya alone inside Kyouya's room with the lights off. His fury wasn't directed to Haruhi at that moment, but at Kyouya (heehee, overprotectiveness and JEALOUSY) It's good to see Tama-chan's angry feature occasionally, and only Haruhi can trigger it! Banzai!

My favorite episodes for TamaxHaru would be:

Episode 1 - where everyone is introduced, and we see Tamaki's good side, well all eps shows his good side but on the 1st ep, we see that even without knowing Haru-chan's gender, he's still willing to help her and that's a really BIG Plus! A good guy Tamaki

Episode 3 - "be careful with Physical Examinations" Tama-chan's struggle to keep Haruhi in the host club and Tamaki's inner mind theater.

Episode 8 - "The sun, the sea and the host club"HAHA I've already mentioned about this one, very nice! The hug scene almost made me scream my heart out.

Episode 10 - "The daily life of the Fujioka household" We see how Tamaki is similar to Haruhi's father. Ranka-san (Haru-chan's dad) treats Tamaki rudely, but in a funny way of course. Later on it is evident that he acts that way towards Tamaki because he feels (knows) that his daughter likes him.

Episode 23 - "Tamaki's unrealized melancholy" Kasanoda finds out Haruhi's secret and falls in love with her. Tama-chan is in shock. Super funny episode. We see just how slow Tamaki is when it comes to his own feelings. All those time, he was literally thinking that he is Haruhi's father, that's why he thinks Haruhi's so cute and that he wants to keep her for himself. Super baka!! I mean, super gorgeous, cute, lovely baka!!

Episode 25 and 26 - We finally see Haruhi show some emotions. She gets jealous (yipee!) runs for Tamaki to stop him from going to France and from leaving the Host Club (and leaving her). Beautiful scene, TamaxHaru hug from the bridge to the lake/sea nah, it's a body of water I'm not sure what type. A festival dance and GET THIS, I so love it when Tamaki and Kyouya's dad argued about who's marrying Haruhi in the future, which means, Haruhi will be well accepted in their family, I doubt about her grandmother though, but I'm sure when that time comes they'll be able to handle it.

I think that Tamaki's and Haruhi might end up together, the story shows a lot of scenes and events with the two of them in it and Haruhi's jealousy at the end is an indication that she does like Tamaki.
It's not yet finished though, I'm still hoping for a second season to come soon, hopefully...
We don't know what's going to happen next, whether or not Haruhi ends up with Tamaki, nevertheless, they look good together and just reminiscing on their moments together makes people such as myself happy.
